I have a quick question regarding the number of max sessions for hardware conferencing and the codec(s) being used.
I have a 48U UC500 that I want to maximize the number of max sessions for meet-me conferencing which is 4. In order to do this, I need to change my conferencing codec to a single mode (only using g711) instead of a mixed mode (which allows both g711 and g729).
What is the real-world advantage/disadvantage of going to a single mode over the mixed mode? will there be compatibility issues or voice quality loss?
At single mode, what is the maximum number of participants? 16?
