Back in the old days of CCM3.1 you could create a phone that didnt really exist. This allowed you to assign all kinds of extensions to it. These could be forwards for extensions that had been changed and other reasons. I am currently working on a TAPI project, and I was thinking an easy way to monitor all the extensions would be to create a phantom phone, and monitor all the extensions in the business. In this way the TAPI client could be installed on a server instead of every PC.
Thoughts?
