how to get a SIP trace from a spa 303

I need to get a sip trace from my 3-line spa303.  Can someone tell me how to do this?  I configured a syslog and debug server, but that seems to receive only low level internals logging, no sip traces.

Hello dhorton 1960,

The configuration on the ATAs should be similar to the SPA303 phone for the settings that need to be configured.  This option if you can manage the phone.

Besides that option if you have a Managed switch that can do port mirroring you can do a packet capture of the port the phone is connected to.  The mirror port will have a PC connected to it running Wireshark so you can capture the SIP traffic.  This is usually the best option if your phone is provisioned and you cannot manage it or it is managed from a hosted VoIP solution.

The final option will be from the Call control device to capture the call.  This will either be locally managed or by your provider.
