Intermittent Phone Connection

We use two Cisco SPA525G phones for our business. After several months with no issues, one phone suddenly began having connection issues a few days ago. The lights all turn orange for a few minutes periodically throughout the day. The wired connection icon remains intact, and nothing else on the display changes. We've tried numerous cables, bypassing the router, resetting the phone, whatever we could think of. Still keeps doing it. Our computers and phones are plugged into the same source, and none of the other devices are having the same connection issue. Anybody have any tips on how to make this thing stay on?

Turn on syslog&debug. It may help you (or us) to identify the cause. Also, packet dump (packets from phone to RingCentral and back) may help.

Hi Steve,

What is the call control system on your network?

Which lights turn orange?

Can you take a picture on the orange lights?

Have you checked the ethernet cable connection?

Are you using the SPA525G as a SIP phone?

Regards,

Martin

Hi Martin, Thanks for getting back to me so soon. We run the phone through Ring Central (they helped us set it up). The lights that turn orange are the five on the right of the display, next to the different Lines. Currently it's working so I can't get a picture, but it's happened a few times today. We've tried 3 or 4 different ethernet cables, and don't have any network problems on our PCs and the other Cisco phone. Pretty sure it's a VOIP connection.
