We have an opportunity for a multiple site configuration with two potential configuration options. We are using the same provider (Windstream) for both locations.
The main site will have 28 phones and the remote site will have 8 phones.
Option 1 - MPLS w/Internet from Windstream. 10MB pipe at main location, 3MB pipe at secondary location.
If we go with option 1, can we use a single UC560 and have Windstream drop an analog line at the branch office for emergency dialing?
(any other thoughts here for survivability?)
Option 2 - Standard Internet service from Windstream - 10MB main / 3MB secondary location
If we go with option 2, we could use multi-site configuration wizard in CCA with VPNs, but have to provide a UC560 for the local site and a UC540 for the remote site.
Just looking for everyone's input on how they would design this solution. It seems to me that the MPLS would be a great option, but I am concerned about the survivability of the remote site.
