Multiple Share Line Appearance Behavior on Cisco SPA

Been working off and on with some customers that require "key system emulation" and while we are able to get Shared Line Appearance to work just fine, with multiple lines on the phone the behavior can become quite erratic.Right now it will in some cases grab a random line, or any ringing line. In some cases the SLA is part of a ring-all group which makes this much more prevalent.

Is there any way to force the lifting of the handset to grab a specific line that is assigned to the phone?

For example, if we had lines 1001-1004 as a shared line appearance on a 504G, would it be possible to get the phone to always pick up on line 1001?

We have tried to explain to the users that they need to press the button for their line before picking up, but they don't always do this and cause confusion.

No. If user doesn't specify exact line, then phone assume the user don't care. Either most old call will be picked up or call on Line N with lowest N (I don't remember the exact behavior, just try it).

If user wish to pickup particular call, then he need to express their wishes.
