We have 4 month old SPA303 phones [hw version 1.0.0(0001)] running the latest firmware [7.4.7]. Each of the 4 phones each have a PC connected via a Cat5 cable to the "PC" port on the underside. Unfortunately, the Internet connection on one PC (Lenovo X201, Windows 7 x64 w/ SP3) is so slow it is unusuable. Accessing most web pages eventually results in them timing out. Connecting the PC using the Cat5 that was previously connected to the phone's "SW" port (in other words, bypassing the phone entirely) results in a positive expected behavior--a fast Internet connection with web pages that load. Connecting another Win7 x64 PC through the phone also results in a usable Internet connection. Net net: only one PC is having problems through the Internet connection. Does anyone have any diagnostics tips for finding the root cause of this issue?
Here is the info from the phone with issues:

I've renewed it's IP address, rebooted the PC and made sure the MoBo and PC have the latest firmware and drivers.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kent
Seems to be a speed/duplex issue, could you check your PC's NIC advanced settings, check if it is set to auto, you may try also the other options available.
This is an example about NIC settings.

Rogelio V.

Rogelio,
Thank you for your reply. The NIC is set to auto-negogiate the connection speed (from 10Mbps to 1Gbps Half and Full Duplex). I switched it to 100 Mbps and I am getting great throughput again. Thank you for the suggestion!
Ultimately, I'd like to be able to set it back to Auto because at my home network is wired for 1Gbps. Is there a known issue with the phone having issues with negotiating with a 1 Gbps NIC?
Cheers,
Kent
Cisco: perhaps this is a bug that can be fixed in v7.4.8? :-)

I will check with engineering team, and I'll come back to you.

Kent,
I was wondering if you have same issue with this computer in other phones or is just with this one.

Rogelio,
The PC exhibits the same connectivity issue with each phone it is attached to so it seems its a problem with all SPA303 phones. FWIW, other PCs connecting through the PC's "normal" phone (the one it'll connect through 99% of the time) have no Internet connectivity issues so its specific to the Lenovo X201 and its multibase.
Thanks,
Kent
