We are using a lot of these adapters in large networks with emergency telephones. All of them are not older than one year.
But from one day to the other they're losing their configuration! They can not be found in the network!
Is this error known? Are there any similar experiences?
Due to factory settings, the device is working again but that is no solution.

When you say can't be found on the network? Is the ip address changing?
Losing config? What's in the profile rule? Is there a new profile that it's getting during the resync time?

IP stays the same(when you check it by conecting a telefon straight to the adapter).
But over the network you get the information "IP not found"(checked over different ways(ping, browser)).
Only after a factory reset and new configuaration by a telefon you can see the adapter in the network again.

You have several of these units and it's happening on all of them?
What's in the profile rule? How long does it take until this problem occurs?
Can you enclosed the html config of the unit? Log in as admin/advanced and do a save as html with the browser.

There is no exact time schedule. Usually after a few months of use.
Of about 60 units are two affected. So not all of them.
Actually we have no defect unit in house, so I can't send you the html config.

This sounds like a difficult one to try and find the cause.
You should contact the support center, contact info at
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/support/tsd_cisco_small_business_support_center_contacts.html
Give them the same info that you have posted here. They'll have some additional things they'll likely go over with you. Thanks.
