Remote Upgrade SPA508g

Hi,

I'm new to this forum.

I just got a SPA508g IP phone and I wanted to upgrade the firmware on it. 

I don't have a PC only a Mac. I was wondering whether it would be possible to use an upgrade rule 

consisting of a URL pointing to a dropbox link containing the .bin file? I've tried but it hasn't worked 

it says 'upgrading...' for a split second and then returns to normal.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The SPA phones are supported in the SMB area of the community, might want to move this thread

You provided neither current phone firmware version nor the target one. So sorry, no advice possible.
