Hi Guys
Requesting for your advise on this. We have Analog Trunks connected to the Voice Gateway 8300 Router and noted that the ANI from the PSTN keeps on changing on a per call basis to begin with and also its in improper format. Looks like the Carrier does not support Caller ID on the Analog Trunks.
Seeking your advice on how we can replace the ANI on the Voice Port with a Simple Number as 22222
Did few calls and noted we received the following ANIs.
cisco-ani=+DE*1D234+4*F
cisco-ani=+DE291414+4*FC
cisco-ani=+DE291414+4*FC
cisco-ani=+DE2914+4*FE
cisco-ani=+DE2910+4*F
cisco-ani=EE291+4*F
I have tried to put in the translation- rule but its being rejected by the Router
Please requesting for someone to guide me on how I can achieve the following:
1. Match any number of digits and characters received from the Carrier in the ANI
2. Replace the received characters with 22222
I will be most grateful for your help.
