Hi Forumers'

Would like to ask is it possible to use UC560+SPA525 UC combo and supoprt the PVC2300 video surveillance camera to act as a internet camera, another alternative way doing tele-presence.

want to use the PVC2300 it's more flexible to install the camera at open position.

thannks for all the feedback and idea.

This will definitely work. Although it might be more flexible and convenient to use a Webex type solution.

Noel,

525/2300 setup:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9825

Shold be able to use SSL if you want to bring the 525 offsite.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9811

You can view the 2300 remotely by setting up Static Nat.  Maybe that helps you more....

Surf to the camera, 192.168.10.150 or whatever your camera's IP is...

Setup > Advanced Setup - Enable HTTPS checkbox, use 10123 port. Save.

Audio/Video > Video - Enable Mobile Streaming checkbox, type in an access code (eg., 123456). Save.

You can test it via Quicktime by opening URL: rtsp://192.168.10.150/123456

Now set up for remote viewing...

In CCA > Security > NAT, click "create" under "Static NAT" adding:

TCP, Inernal 192.168.10.150 port tcp 10123, external (your wan address) port tcp 10123

TCP, Inernal 192.168.10.150 port tcp 554, external (your wan address) port tcp 554

Test this outside of CCA/UC500 from the internet by using Quicktime > open URL, then rstp to the wan, e.g.:

rstp://62.44.33.11/123456

You should also be able to surf to the camera via the wan port address of the uc500:

https://62.44.33.11 using your vpn credentials

Then you need to type the camera's ip in the url field: 192.168.10.150
