Getting this message from setup wizard Verification from all users.  Any Ideas?

IP-Address:  10.1.1.1, User Name: RFerriera, Port:  2000

Found Router :  10.1.1.1
Invalid TAPI client username. Registration rejected. It is most likely your username and password do not match or the phone is being used by some other applications.

No other apps control phone.

Smart Call Connector Operator is on system but not on these clients.

I'll send you the setup guide.

Hey Marcus,

Ive setup the toolbar before but never recieved this error.

Thanks for the guide.  Hope it helps.

I have seen this when more than one application is trying to TAPI connect to the same phone.

Example:  An SCC Operator Console will make the TAPI connection to a bunch of phones being managed.  If a toolbar is attempted to connect to one of the phones, it will fail this way (trick there would be use the SCC Server as the TAPI client connection and everything else uses it.

There is no Server just a stand-alone.  directed to that IP showed Connection error.  Any ideas?

What is the length of the username being sent to the phone?

I believe release notes state it muct be less than 15 charachters for TAPI.   Unfortunately, CCA allows you to build it beyond 15.

All names are less thAn 15 with passwords of 6 digits.

Hi Anthony:

There is a known issue, now resolved in newer versions of CME, where the TAPI connection at the UC500 is not released. You can view the currently cunnected IP address from the "Show Ephone" command. If there is a connection, you can clear this by either reseting the phone or issuing a "reset tapi" CLI command.

Please let us know your progress.

Thanks
