Hello,
I am trying to upgrade SPA 504G using the utility that is bundled in the package, from computer which is connected on its LAN port (same subnet). Current version is 7.4.8 and tying to upgrade to latest 7.5.1
I can open the GUI, ping it, but this utility is giving error "Upgrade Failed: No Response from SPA".
Is there an option which needs to be enabled through GUI ? Or is there any other way tp upgrade it. This phone is connected with a service provider and reason for upgrade is that its loosing registrations. Not sure if upgrade will help in fixing the registration lost problem.
Any help ?

Have you verified that you shut off any software firewall or antivirus software temporarily so the phone can communicate fully with the pc for the software download?

Yes, it was firewall issue on local Windows XP system.

I'm having this issue too going from 7.4.3 to 7.5.2b. Firewall and antivirus are off..Any help?

Dear,
You can upgrade firmware without utility.
Just open your favorite navigator (firefox, etc) and put a line like this
Http://ipofciscospa/admin/upgrade?http://ipofawebserver/thethefirmware.
Or like this
http://10.0.0.50/admin/upgrade?http://public.ciscosupport.eu/spa50x-30x-7-5-2b.bin
http://10.0.0.50/admin/upgrade?http://public.ciscosupport.eu/spa50x-30x-7-5-3.bin
Please note,, you must first upgrade to 752b before .... See release note of firmware
Look too on provisioning tab, there are somes settings for upgrade rule maybe to change.
