SPA 303 IP Phone & Google Fiber

I purchased a SPA 303 IP Phone and have Google Fiber internet. When I hook up my phone to my Fiber box, the phone screen reads "Initializing" but then nothing happens. There's no dial tone.

 

1. Is the SPA 303 IP Phone compatible with Google Fiber? I asked Cisco Support on Twitter and received conflicting info. One Cisco Support person replied "no," another "yes," a third told me to call support, and then the call support person directed me here.

2. If the phone is compatible with Google Fiber, what steps do I need to take so the initialization works?

3. If it isn't compatible, what comparable Cisco phones are compatible with Google Fiber?
