Hello,
I have a few users reporting that they are occasionally unable to make outbound calls even though inbound continues to work. Rebooting the ATA resolves the problem.
When this occurs we do not see any INVITE messages from the ATA. The ATA's web interface reports the state is invalid and the tone is reorder. The peer phone number matches what the user says they dialed so it shouldn't be a DTMF or dialplan issue.
The syslog output from the phone does not include any useful messages. The only output that looks relevant is the following:
Nov 12 10:59:16 [HOSTNAME] msgswitchd[307]: MSGSWD RTCP Reqt len 12 Data 2,0,13,299
Nov 12 10:59:16 [HOSTNAME] [17249384.368000] voice_release, chan: 0
The ATA is running the 1.4.0 firmware though it was also reported on the 1.3.5 firmware.
Any ideas on why the outbound calls would fail?

It doesn't look like highest level syslog&debug output of Voice application.
Full log should reveal more.
