SPA504G freezes on LDAP query when DNS is unavailable

Hello everyone,

I would report freezing of SPA504G phone when is unable to resolve LDAP server IP address through DNS query. Running firmware is the latest 7.6.1 .

This only happens when DNS isn't available. DNS server is down, misconfigured IP address of DNS server on the phone, or some network misconfiguration eg. ACL, no route to DNS server,...

Don’t think that this is a same problem as already reported bug: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11694691/spa504g-display-hangs-when-trying-do-ldap-lookup

but behavior after freeze is the same, Cancel button doesn’t work and only help is to power disconnect the phone.
