Easy to create a dial string with pauses in it using the web interface pdir.htm
Can't see a way to put anything other than 0-9 * and # when programming directory entries at the set.
Googled to no avail.
Thanks!

There are some secrets known to long term members of this community only.

Just read SPA50x and SPA30x Screen-dump / Screen-scrape

I see no issue with it. Did you switched the input mode to "alpha" ?

Embarrassed.
I didn't think to try the nav knob to move over to the rest of the menu entries to the right (which is where that option is located).
Meanwhile, can you tell me how you did the screen cap of your phone?
Thanks!

Messages rated - thx for your timely responses
It speaks well of this hardware, including the previous SPA942 Linksys version, that I haven't had to actually ask for help up until this point.
I've been using these sets for five plus years now, and dealing with them is one of the things about my job that I actually enjoy

We are satisfied with it as well - and we have few hundreds of it deployed in seven countries (or so) around.
Most valuable feature (for me) is secure way to zero-touch deployment. Unique digital certificate embedded within each phone is exceptional feature available for no other SIP phone I know about.
Unfortunately, almost no credits for Cisco here. Timeless design of such phone is Sipura's design. And the last active development of the device has been done by Linksys. Even worse, last active support has been provided by Linksys (the thread dedicated to screen dump is not the only example). Once the Linksys division has been atomised, no one answers technical question here (but me, sometime).
Yes, there's SMB support center, but no success stories known with it beyond solution of trivial issues.
SPA50x are excellent devices - despite Cisco's support ...
