SPA525 XML Service Remote Credentials

Hi,

I've tried searching for information on how to authenticate when I'm using remote credentials for XML Service but I can't seem to find any details on it.

I've set the XML Username and XML password through the phone GUI. I've tried posting a base64 encoding <username>:<password> with the "Authentication Basic" header. That returns a 401 Unauthorized. Repsonse from XML is <CiscoIPPhoneError Number="4"/>Authentication error<CiscoIPPhoneError>

I read on the changelog that xuser and xpassword is not supported in the SPA series and was wondering if that xuser and xpassword the XML service parameters.

SPA phones are supported in the SMB commnunity

According this table, the digest mode of HTTP authentication needs to be used, not the basic one.
