So I have a couple of brand new SPA525Gs right out of the box and we are having trouble with them on the network.
I've setup a sniffer capture to see what's happening and it looks like the phone sends out a dhcp request but never accepts the offer from the switch.
I then setup a static IP address on the same subnet and it will not respond to the ARP requests either.
If I connect it back to back with my laptop, however I can ping it and get to the web interface fine.
Other older 504 and 525 phones are all working fine on this same subnet and switch port.
The phones came with version 7.5.2a and we upgraded them to 7.5.5 still does the same thing.
Has anyone else seen this? Small business support didn't offer up much help.
