SPA525G2 Bluetooth headset will not answer calls

I have a SPA525G2 (Firmware 7.5.5) and have paired a Motorola H17 Bluetooth headset.   I can place calls with the headset but I can not receive calls.  On incomming calls, the headset "rings" as expected but when I hit either the button on the headset or the headset button on the phone, the phone stops ringing, the headset button light [on phone] starts blinking green, but the call is never answered. 

I currently have the 525G's Bluetooth mode set to "Phone" & "Line: 5"
 

Is there another setting somewhere I am overlooking?

I am sure it could be the headset as well, but would like to rule out other options before I break down and buy another headset (I just bought this one a couple weeks ago)

I wish that someone will you give better advice, but in the meantime ...

I have no experience with such environment (e.g. SPA525 with BT headset), but turn pn syslog&debug on SPA525 and catch them. It shoult give you a hint what's broken here.
