Speed dial buttons

When a user adds a speed dial button themselves in the Services areas, they do not show up after adding them right away.   For some users they do not show up at all, and others it took a day or so and they finally showed up.

The phone needs to be restarted after new speed dials are added.  Let me know if that helps.

We have tried resetting the phone with no luck.   For some reason only one user who added speed dials actually showed up, but not till a day later.

I guess you are using 7900 series phones???

Have you taken a look at the CLI?

do the follwing command;

sh run | sec ephone  (insert a double space after ephone)

The speed dials should be listed if they are configured on the phone..

What version of IOS are you using?  What type of phones?  What firmware on the phones?

We are using 20T IOS, and the phone is the CIPC 7.0

Are you over a VPN when you do this, or local to the site?
