UC320 Calling with 5550000 number -finally stopped

Shortly after we were doing some testing on extension 200 and extension 396 - we started receiving phantom calls with ID 5550000.

Not sure that had any bearing but was shortly after that was done.

When answered an un-inteligble voice utters something about 2 or 3 sylables then it hangs up.

We kept answering or ignoring them until it eventually went away.

Do not believe it was a real call from one of the POTS lines.

Anyone seen something like this?

Hi Robert,

Do you have Sip trunks or FXO lines or both?  If you are not sure what the origin of the phantom call is, you might try using the UC320W Configuration Utility Troubleshooting interface on the Status Tab to see if you can capture an incoming call to determine the source.  Also, you might consider upgrading your software to the release candidate for our next maintenance release ... more information on how to obtain that software can be found at this link.
