UC320W not accepting calls or mailbox access

In the morning when the office staff gets in, they notice that no calls are coming in, the AA is not answering, and they cannot access any of the shared mailboxes.  At first, this only happened when Verizon did something to the line, but now it has happened 5 working days in a row.  The only way to correct the problem has been to cycle the power on the UC320W.  Any ideas?  From the web interface, there doesn't seem to be any issues.

FYI, whenever Verizon screws up the line or services it anywhere around the block, once they are done, the UC320W has to be rebooted.  Is that normal?

Hi David,

The behavior doesn't sound normal, but the telco changing/impacting your lines regularly doesn't sound normal either.  A couple of things you can try.  Put a basic phone line T connector in front of the UC320W FXO and connect an analog phone to it.  When the system is in this bad state try to call the FXO line with the phone.  Try picking up the phone and see if you get dialtone.  Look at the FXO LEDs on the front of the UC320W and see if they are in an offhook state.

When the system is in this bad state what do you see when you go to Status -> External Trunks?
