UC540 - Incoming calls to Hunt group... not ringing members but does complete cycle?!

Here is the layout..

We have site A and site B. 

Call comes into site A and goes directly to hunt group 502

Hunt group 502 is set to ring one member on site A then if not answered goes to hunt group 503

Hunt group 503 is set to ring one member on site B then if not answered goes to the auto attendant on site B

 

When calling in, the phone will ring a few times then end up at the Auto attendant. It seems to be skipping all the steps in between.This once worked but something was altered when editing via CCA and CLI... it messed it up. I know from the test that it does forward across the VPN tunnel to site B because it gets to the auto attendant fine, but even the local extension at site A doesn't seem to be called when an incoming call is routed. Configuration below with debugs toward the bottom.

Output of the debug voice ccapi inout. At 000558 you can see the incomming call is forwarded to 502, at 000616 the call is forwarded to an odd destination that I'm unsure about, at 000707 is seems like something is happening with 503 but I don't see it forwarded, at 000752 it gets forwarded to AA at 81398. Ideas?

Hello Nathan,

 

The configuration of the hunt group is not correct.

You cannot use call forward all under extension in hunt group because it is ignored this is the reason why the call flow is not working.

This is one of the restrictions of the hunt groups, please check the following link.

You need to set the call flow in another way.

Okay, thanks for that input! So that fixes the local extension of 306 in the hunt group, but how can I get the hunt group to send the call to the second site? I am using call forward all because the hunt group won't let me use 81216 as a list member. I reference a folating extenstion (? not sure if this is correct term) that is 216 and that extension forwards to 81216 to go across the tunnel.

Hello Nathan,

There are different approaches e.g. you may choose final to send the call to the other site and then back to the first site voicemail. Just be careful so that you do not create a loop.
