We are in the process of moving to Microsoft Teams Calling from Cisco Call Manager. We have several boxes of new Cisco 8811 phones that we are trying to convert to MPP. We have successfully converted 2 phones, but 4 other phones that we have tried to convert have not been successful. The 2 phones that have successfully migrated were upgraded to sip88xx.12-0-1MPP0001-245.loads. The 4 phones that have not been successfully migrated were upgraded to sip88xx.12-0-3MPP0001-87.loads. We went through the same process each time. Also, the phones that are not converting eventually show the following message: Provide the migration license. Contact you administrator. We have uploaded the license file prior to trying the upgrade each time. I am not sure if we need to somehow downgrade to the 12-0-1MPP or what.
