Using SIP handsets with UC520

Hi,

I have recently purchased a UC520, however have a Siemens SIP cordless phone that I am hoping to join onto the UC520.

I've had a look in CCA but can't for the life of me see anywhere to add "SIP" extensions to the system.

Does this have to be done by the CLI, and if it does can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello,

This is not possible with CCA, only CLI. In addition, your version of CME must be 8.6+. Please be aware, we offer no support for 3rd party SIP phones, so use this at your own risk.

I don't take credit for this, as I found this information on this post: https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3999456
