I just discovered this issue on a new install today... there is already a router/vpn setup that the UC320 has to be behind... there is no changing any of that...
I saw one post where the guy changed the WAN port to STATIC IP and actually connected it to existing LAN with a valid IP for that network and setup a bogus IP for the LAN ip address... He also enabled remote management... Has anyone else tried that?
Also...
What if I just put another router in the the path to the WAN port ... all I care about is voicemail to email
ie::
existing switch > cheap router different subnet > wan port (uc320w)
existing switch > lan port (uc320w)

i tested double NAT at the office it worked fine... u could send email... however I get this onsite

another update... using a different server without ssl works fine... go figure
