WIP310 Wireless IP Question

I have 2 separate subnets on the network. One for the PC's and one for our VOIP equipment. I have, with other hardware, been able to connect to a wireless AP with a static IP on the VOIP subnet and been able to use it just fine.

The WIP310 refuses to connect to an access point on the PC subnet and use a static IP on the VOIP subnet. This shouldn't be a problem as the two are running on the same hardware, just a change of the IP is all it takes to get to one or the other. I'd rather not have to set up more AP's on the VOIP subnet just to have the wireless phones connect to them. Is there anyway to get the phone to connect to any AP and use the static IP I assign if it's on a different subnet from the AP?

ie.

PC's & the AP use 192.168.60.x

Phones and the Trixbox use 192.168.61.x

I want to connect to an AP (192.168.60.120) and use a static IP 192.168.61.140, however the phone refuses to connect to the AP in this configuration. It will only connect with DHCP or if I assign a static IP in the 192.168.60.x range.

Thanks
