Hi Ivan,
Make sure that you have defined English as the base language where it uses d0 and x0 [zero, no "o as in Oscar"]
Refer to: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9952
I'm busy setting up the dictionaries to be hosted from the cloud. You can use this by configuring your phones as follows:
1.
SPA525G phone’s Voice tab > Regional tab > Miscellaneous > Dictionary Server Script:
serv=http://www.ciscosbs2.com/spaDictionaries/spa525/v746/;d1=Czech;x1=spa525_cz_v746.xml
SPA30x/SPA50x phone's Voice tab > Regional tab > Miscellaneous > Dictionary Server Script:
serv=http://www.ciscosbs2.com/spaDictionaries/spa50x_30x/v745/;d1=Czech;x1=spa50x_30x_cz_v745.xml
2. Set to Czech, the Language Selection: Czech
3. Click Submit All Changes
Your phone should reboot and should then display Czech. Note that I don't yet have Czech translations for 7.4.6 for SPA303/SPA525. Using 7.4.5 or earlier is not a problem, any new features that don't have a Czech translation will be displayed in English .

Patrick

TY for your advice...I used xml file from
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-11463#comment-7107 and local tftp server the last time.
Now I try it from your location
http://www.ciscosbs2.com/spaDictionaries/spa50x_30x/v745/;d1=Czech;x1=spa50x_30x_cz_v745.xml and we`ll can see the result tomorrow because I can`t see the phone display now.

Hi Ivan,
[apologies for the delay, I've been having issues posting to the Community]
I've tested in my lab and my phone does switch to Czech.
Here's what I did:
1. Verify that my network has access to the SPA303 / SPA50x dictionary files from Cisco's cloud:
http://www.ciscosbs2.com/spaDictionaries/spa50x_30x/v745/
Visiting the above URL, I see seven SPA phone dictionaries.
2. Check phone for current firmware. It's running 7.4.8
3. Factory reset phone so you and I can start from the same point:
Setup button > 14 [Factory Reset] > ok
4. Set phone's Dictionary Server Script:
a. http://phoneIP/admin/advanced
b. Voice tab > Regional tab > Miscellaneous > Dictionary Server Script:
serv=http://www.ciscosbs2.com/spaDictionaries/spa50x_30x/v745/;d1=Czech;x1=spa50x_30x_cz_v745.xml
5. Set phone's Language Selection, else it will only display English:
a. http://phoneIP/admin/advanced
b. Voice tab > Regional tab > Miscellaneous > Language Selection:
Czech
[click to view a larger version]
6. Click Submit All Changes
The phone reboots and displays Czech:
Give it another try by following my exact steps.
Let me know of your progress.

Patrick

Your manual is great and made step-by-step for dummies but doesn`t function me;o).
I found one difference...I have Software Version: 7.4.5 and this can be problem. I tried to upgrade phone to 7.4.8, but I could not find manual, firmware download in this forum (google doesn`t help me too)...I`m not able to upgrade this phone now.
Can you write me how can I upgrade this firmware?
Edit: I`ve upgrade firmware and now I have to wait for office girls response.
Edit2: It doesn`t seem good, I think this is restarting in loop;o(. 5 pings are ok, 10 have time out, 5 pings are ok, 10 have timeout...ok let`s go bed...it`s better to sleep on it.

Ivan,
I'm glad you got the phone's firmware. For anyone that finds this link via a search engine, here are the steps:

Awesome...chzech langugae is online. It was good fight;o).
I`d have to reset to factory default via phone button during restarting loop and then I upload chzech language and...it works!
TY for your advices and time.
Summary:
- it seems the language xml is not function with 7.4.5 fw versiom
- if you uploading new firmware and the czech language same time phone running in restarting loop
- then you have to reset phone to the factory settings (press button menu during phone booting and go to factory reset in menu)
- upload czech language next, restart and all well done;o).

I would like to repeat your's words in big red:
Make sure that you have defined English as the base language where it uses d0 and x0 [zero, no "o as in Oscar"]
The examples in your comment doesn't define the English on zero position and some of readers seems to use your's examples 'as-is' - and it doesn't work. d0/x0 must be defined and it must be English everytime (at least on firmwares I tried it). Marek (asking help in botom) had such kind of problem, for example. For readers that understand Czech, see for more information.

My good feeling is out.
I think I have found a new bug.
Czech language is function....but I tried restart (simulating electric power off) and booting loop started again.
I repeat all steps, new firmware, upload czech langugae, setup SIP account...phone working, then I try power off and phone is restartting in loop.
I can`t continue I think the Czech eml file has some bug.
This is messages from my syslog (setup debug level 3 in the phone)...I can`t see nothing important, after last message a new loop starting

Hi Ivan,
I'm glad you were successful with getting the Czech dictionary loaded. Thanks for sharing the success with the Community.
The syslog messages don't yield anything of interest.
Please check the parts of your phone's configuration that you modified. I'm guessing that there may be a syntax error. Check space, comma, colon, and semi-colons to make sure that you've not injected an error.
Consider doing the following:
1. Factory reset the phone.
2. Configure the Czech dictionary.
3. Power the phone on and off to verify that it starts properly [It's easy to insert syntax errors into the dictionary script]
4. If 1-3 do not cause a restart-loop factory reset the phone again
5. Configure the SIP account
6. Power the phone on and off to verify that it starts properly [It's easy to insert syntax errors into the SIP account details]
7. If 4-6 do not cause a restart-loop, perform steps 2-3 again
Regards,
Patrick

First I want to tell you the phones working properly in EN with both fw (7.4.5 and 7.4.8a).
1. reset to factory...phone is OK. After power fail restart phone is OK
2. upload chzech language...phone is OK, menu in czech. After power fail restart phone failed and start restart loop.
I tried it several times.
2nd phone
Fw 7.4.5, upload to Czech...no changes, ok upgrade to 7.4.8a, upload czech...nothing (still in english), reset to default, upload to czech...nothing???...ok I go to the phone menu in the phone display and select langugae...wow what`s the f....i can choose only czech language....confirm save but phone is still in english. I really don`t understand.
Ok one more reset to default...bla bla bla the same result.
I hope I have some magical phones.

Hi Zsolt,
I have the same problem as Ivan with SPA303-G2 which I bought three days ago. Firmware version is 7.4.8a. I tried upload the Czech language - step by step the instructions, but after phone reboot is it still in English.
I tried it with 3 phones.
Thanks
