Dialing timeout/delay when keying digits

Is there a way to change the delay before the digits dissappear on an SPA525g.  For instance if I start to dial a number so I dial 91510 and then get interuptted for a second the number disappears and I have to dial it from the beginning.  It looks like it gives about 10 seconds to complete input of the number.  We would like to up the timeout if possible.

Yes, you can change the interdigit timeout using the following CLI command:

router(config)#telephony-service

router(config-telephony)#timeouts interdigit 20

This would increase the interdigit timeout to 20 seconds (default is 10).

Hope this helps.

Brandon

I have changed both the short and long Interdigit Timeouts to 30 seconds each and it still times out in 10 seconds.
