How to configure WIP310 phone??

I have a Cisco WIP310v2 phone and I want to configure it as extension on my organization. It's only a LAN with an Asterisk server, the parameters are:

- Asterisk IP: 192.168.1.10

- Extension: 303

- Secret: secret1

My problem is that this phone has so many options and fields that I don't know wich to configure. Are you guys able to tell me in wich fields I have to put that info?

There are so many options because outer world may vary so much.

They needs to be set according exact configuration of Asterisk server, according the network topology, according supplemental services you will provide, according upstream connection you have, according country you are living in and many others.

I'm claiming we can advise you nothing ?

Definitely no.

Configure basic Ext1 parameters so phone will connect to Asterisk. Configure codecs used/prefered (you should avoid transcoding whenever possible thus follow Asterisks preferences). Leave rest default.

Try it.

If you will hit a issue, collect symptoms and describe them here. We will try to identify the cause and settings that should be tweaked to solve them.
