Dear All,
I have a vpn client setup on an laptop, when the client connects through dialup (dial-up-internet) and connects the
VPN he is able to access the mail server, where as when the client uses the broadband-Intenet connection on his laptop and then connects the VPN he is not able to access the mail server.
Do any body has a clue to resolve this.

Hi,
Can you check your Ip address when you are connected to Broadband-Internet connection? What is your mail server IP?.

I am not exactly aware of the Broadband ip but it was in the network 10.x.x.x means on the first octet it starts with 10 and my mail server ip is 10.120.1.50.

Hi,
This is a tricky solution but it's must work.
Go to your ethernet interface's connection properties.
Select TCP/IP properties
Select Advance in TCP/IP Properties
In Advanced TCP/IP Setting, change the Interface metric from 1 to 2.
Apply the configuration.
Try to connect VPN.
Now it should work.
