Accessing a Microsoft VPN server behind an 831 router

Greetings,

Can anyone please tell me which ports need to be opened so users outside an 831 router can access an internal microsoft vpn server. Is it just

PPTP 1723? The 831 is configuring for PAT and is also configured as a firewall.

I believe I found the answer to my question. When enabling the firewall feature it automatically adds the following to the access-list:

permit tcp any any eq 1723

I had to add the following static:

ip nat inside source static tcp 1723 interface ethernet1 1723

Now my remote clients can connect to the vpn server behind the 831 router and access shares.
