Accessing a Network PDU through browser GUI

I have a network-enabled PDU hanging off a 2960-X which in turn hangs off a 4500-X. The 4500-X has management access and I can ping the PDU. 

The PDU is in a VLAN and on the 4500, this VLAN becomes an SVI.

Even though, i have full access to the PDU, I cant seem to launch the GUI from the webbrowser. 

Any help?

Note: the management interface is in mgmtVrf VRF and the SVI is in another VRF. Is this causing the issue?

The fact that you can ping the PDU makes me think the issue lies with that unit rather than your switch setup.

Are you sure the PDU actually has the web management turned on? In cases like this I like to use something like nmap to see what ports the device is listening on and continue on from there. I know a lot of these types of devices use different ports from the standard HTTP/HTTPS for web management.
