We have a customer who bought an ASA 5525. He also bought 10 SSL premium license. After few weeks they wanted to increase the number of SSL seats. Hence they said they would go for the 25 SSL premium license. Now that they have bought the license, when they tried installing the license, they can’t assign the PAK to the ASA and retrieve the license key because Cisco says that the ASA already have SSL VPN licenses assigned to it. How does the customer proceed in such a case. Pleae advise.
Thanks

Which License are you trying to apply? If there are already SSL-Licenses on that ASA, you should use the Upgrade-license. But that's probably to late now. I see two possibilities:
1) Write to licensing@cisco.com and tell them what you have and what you need.
2) Upgrade to AnyConnect 4 APEX licenses where you get a rebate for already bought premium-licenses.

Thanks Karsten. Will check with the licensing team if they can help switch the licenses .
