Anyconnect SSL cert question

Hi,

Do I need to buy/create an SSL cert to use the anyconnect SSL VPN option?

I went the the wizard on the ASA and got it working but how do I know if a cert is being used or where the ASA has created one etc?

James,

You don't need to purchase a cert from Verisign or any other Certificate Authority. It just won't show up as "trusted" in your browser. You can install the cert within your brower or create your own PKI.

The certificate should show in the config (I think). I'll have to check on that.

Did you have any luck finding it, can I find it in the ASDM? I don't mind it not showing as trusted, if I don't have one can I create one?

It will have to wait a few hours, until I can access my 5505 config. You should be able to create it on the ADSM or the CLI.
