I've been using Anyconnect on Linux just fine for quite some time. Yesterday I upgraded my system to RHEL 9.3 and now the "Cisco Secure Client - Login" pane freezes after I enter my VPN username and password. Normally, after entering my password, the login process sends a confirmation message to the Okta Verify app on my phone. But now he login screen on my desktop freezes after I click the "Sign In" button and the Okta authentication never gets called.
Not sure if this is an issue with the Cisco Anyconnect client, the VPN authentication handoff, or a bug somewhere with RHEL.
I'm using Cisco Secure Client for Linux version 5.0.05040.
Log messages in /var/log/messages don't show any obvious problems.
Everything works fine on Ubuntu 22.04 with the same version of the Anyconnect client.
Any insights or tips for troubleshooting would be welcome.
Thanks.

What version of Webkit are you running? You may be hitting a known issue with Webkit 2.42.1. https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=262777. Please make sure you have updated to the latest Webkit release of 2.42.2.

Excellent! Thanks for the suggestion. The installed version was webkit2gtk3-2.40.5 ( Red Hat's versioning ).
I downgraded the webkit2gtk3 packages:
# dnf downgrade webkit2gtk3 webkit2gtk3-jsc
...
Downgraded:
webkit2gtk3-2.38.5-1.el9_2.3.x86_64 webkit2gtk3-jsc-2.38.5-1.el9_2.3.x86_64
Now Anyconnect is working great. Thanks again!
