ASA 5510 - VPN SSL Portal issue

Hi,

I encounter a problem with the WebVPN portal when I try to use the link "Browse Entire Network". This give the result "Failed to retrieve domains" (see attached file). CIFS links work fine since I've updated the ASA to 8.2(2) version.

This problem doeasn't exists when we use a Windows 2003 Server.

My config:

ASA 5510, SSM CSC 10 K9 - ver. 8.2(2)

Windows 2008 Server Standard SP1

Any ideas ?

Hi,

I suppose you have not integrated LDAP due to which the AD and OU are not reflecting here and you are getting the mentioned error.

Hi,

We have integrated an AD server for the authentication of the ssl user. The error  occurs for all users (local or AD).

When i'm logging with an AD user, i can access to the directories but if i click in "browse entire network", that 's return the error.

I have already fill the right netbios and wins adresse in the ssl configuration.

We don't undestand because it's working in a 2003 server but not with our 2008 std. I have install the wins fonctionnality on the 2008 wbut with no change.

Do you have an experience with windows 2008 ?
