ASA 8.2(3) Web VPN RDP

I am working on an SSL/web vpn setup for a customer.  I am using DAP's to limit access on a per user basis.  I downloaded and installed the latest RDP2 client for the ASA.  Everything seems to work fine except for the RDP sessions.

I am working with windows 2007 64 bit.

When I click on an RDP bookmark in IE 8 with the latest version of java It loads a pop-up that says a "A website wants to start a remote connection...." Gives me the option to allow access to my clipboard and then I click connect.  It goes to a page titled terminal server connection that has the Options for

New portal page and Reconect with Java client.  In the top middle of the page it just stays at "loading" and never does anything else.

If I click "reconnect with java client" it loads a new window and a java window opens with the RDP session working.

Anyone seen this?

Hi Billy,

I guess that by Windows 2007 you mean Windows 7.

If that is the case, can you make sure that you've added the ASA to the IE Trusted Sites?

If so, can you take a couple of screenshots of the pages you have when launching the plugin?

Does it complain that the ActiveX code is not properly signed?
