Asa SSH access from outside using public ip

Hi,

We have configured the ssh configuration in our ASA firewall, We are able to access the asa firewall through ssh from intranet using outside interface public ip but not able to access the same through public network, even i tried (SSH 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 outside)also but no luck.

anyone please help on this.

You must know the public IP address, for example :

ssh 94.125.239.0 255.255.255.0 OUTSIDE

so, I see, that you are getting the IP-address to outside interface from

 ip address pppoe 

Could you, please, verify, that the PPPoE ISP doesn't block tcp port 22? It is very easy to do. I need to use packet-capture on ASA.

capture TEST-SSH interface outside match ip host X.X.X.X any

where X.X.X.X - the IP-address, from where you are trying to open SSH-Session

then try show capture TEST-SSH to view capture-buffer.

Apparently the issue was from ISP side.

Not really sure of what they did but now it's working fine.
