ASA - SSL Web VPN Customization confusion

I have two firewalls,

the first being my company firewall:

When I go to customize a web vpn portal it opens up IE and I can edit it in the browsers and click save.

The second my personal ASA at home:

When I customize a web VPN portal a dialogue box opens up in the ASDM, and not IE any more, has similar options but different.

Can someone help me understand why the behaviour is different.

What IOS versions are you running at work and home?

I think after 8.4 the portal customisation was handled by ASDM rather than the browser.

many thanks, you are right, I did some experiments with different versions of ASA and ASDM, looks like none of the new IOS use browser these days.  Its just my old ASA5510 with an old IOS at work that still uses the browser. I was sort of used to it so missed it a little.
