ASA5508 non-FPWR model - can we add AnyConnect Plus?

We have a customer that is looking for a basic FW and is not interested in any of the Firepower features. They also need VPN capabilities to support VPN connections from Avaya IP Office VPN phones.

If they purchase the standard ASA5508-K9 Cisco ASA 5512-X with SW, 6GE Data, 1GE Mgmt, AC, 3DES/AES unit.

Can we just sell and add AnyConnect Plus licensing to this unit?

L-AC-PLS-LIC= - Cisco AnyConnect Plus Term License, Total Authorized Users
L-AC-PLS-5Y-S1 - Cisco AnyConnect Plus License, 5YR, 25-99 Users

or appropriate Perpetual licenses.

Is there any reason why this would not be supported?

Yes, you can pair AnyConnect Plus with these Firewalls. But I would take a different device as the 5512 is EOS and the 5508 not up to date anymore. I would use a Firepower 1000 here:

It can be implemented with an ASA image or with an FTD image based on your needs.
