Hi,
Don't know whether this is possible but wanted to check whether a router can dial to a NT RAS server ( Server has external modems connected to accept dial-in clients )
Thanks

Yes, a router with internal or external modems can dial *OUT* to another RAS. From the NT RASes perspective its another modem thats trying to connect it & from the routers perspective its an individual modem (internal or external) thats trying to call out.

Internal digital modems calling OUT:
NM-AM calling out:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk36/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080093d2a.shtml
NOTE, this config is for the router to call out as if it's an individual modem calling out. We need to match parameters such as authentication type pap/chap , username/password credentials as per the requirement on the NT RAS that's acting as an Access server now (terminating the calls)
Thanks, Mak
