Hi NetPro ppl,
For a Cisco 1720 router:
i) Does it have any built-in 100MB interface? Or does it only have 10MB interface?
ii) If the 1720 router does have an 100MB interface, does it support Dot1Q trunking?
iii) Does the 1720 router supports ADSL module (WIC-1ADSL Card)?
Cheers

The 1720 has a 10/100Mb Ethernet interface, it does not however support 802.1q trunking (you would need a 1721 for this). It supports the WIC-1ADSL module, although I don't know what the minimum IOS version to support it is.
I currently have a 1720 with WIC-1ADSL & WIC-1ENET and it is running IOS 12.3(15).

Hi Andy,
Can it do any trunking at all? Like ISL trunking?
Cheers,

Hi Hunt,
It will do trunking , but supports only 802.1Q VLAN . Nothing else..
