Cisco 678 config for PPTP VPN

User has a NT4 server set up as a RAS server using PPTP to connect remote users. The Cisco 678 is set up with NAT, Static IP range setup as VIP0 for any static IP addresses used for servers internally, filters set to allow certain services to pass thru the router, email, telnet, http, domino, etc. Do I need to set the filters to allow PPTP/VPN connections to pass to the server or do I need to set static NAT entries? Whenever I try to connect with an MS VPN client the connection times out with an "Error 650" and never throws back a login dialog. Both ends are set to allow plain text authentication for testing purposes. Seems like it should b a mere matter of setting the filters correctly for the VIP0, but I don't know how to set GRE protocol 47 correctly in a filter. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. TIA!!

You’ll have to have a Static IP set to the RAS server. Port translation won’t work for GRE.
