Hello,
I am writing to seek your assistance with a recurring issue that has been observed on a subset of our Windows 10 Enterprise laptops.
The problem pertains to the AnyConnect client. It allows a successful connection on the first attempt, but any subsequent attempts to disconnect and reconnect result in the client getting stuck at the “Ready to Connect” stage. The only workaround at the moment is to end the Cisco client task via the Task Manager and restart it. However, this is not a sustainable solution as the issue reoccurs after every disconnect/reconnect cycle.
Troubleshooting this issue has proven challenging due to the lack of error messages and the fact that these connections do not appear to be hitting our firewall. We have tried reinstalling and upgrading the client multiple times, but to no avail.
I am reaching out in hopes that someone might have encountered a similar issue or could provide some insight into potential solutions or troubleshooting steps that we could take. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.
