I have a single Windows 7 pc that cannot access the Internet when connected to our networks through the Cisco VPN client 5.0.07.029-k2. The computer can access any computer on the remote network using the IP address, but it cannot resolve any names through DNS. We have the client and router set to allow access to the local network, but all internet traffic should go through the VPN. I would appreciate any suggestions.

VPN client uses right profile? Did you checked the ipconfig/all on windows 7 pc after connecting to the VPN?
VPN client network has access to internal DNS server. (Remote access VPN network source address has access to your internal DNS sever to resolve name)
Please check and revert
Thanks

The client is properly configured (two sets of eyes). With ipconfig /all, we see the proper local and remote DNS addresses. Both DNS groups are available through the Internet, so permissions should not be an issue.
FYI: We have two other pcs on site that can connect with the same settings and credentials.

I completely removed the VPN client from the pc manually and reinstalled the most recent version. I was able to connect to the network through the Cisco VPN client, but the pc still cannot connect to a DNS server.
