Cisco VPN client not working after migrating from PIX to ASA

                   Hi Experts,

I have a situation here where after migrating from PIX 6.3 to ASA 8.4, VPN connection from window server 2003 and 2008 fail to connect. Strangely, win7 or win 8 works perfectly well.

It failed due to

reason=DEL_REASON-IKE_NEG_FAILED

The diff we can see is win 7 is 32 bits and the server client version is 64bits.

Appreciate if anyone can shed some light.

Thanks

Kumar

Hello Kumar,

what is the VPN client version you are using?

was this working fine on windows server 2003 and 2008 while using the PIX as VPN end point?

please collect the outputs of 'debug cry isakmp 100' and 'debug crypto ipsec 100' when trying to connect from the affected devices, and collect logs from the VPN client during the same test.

Regards,

Othman
