Greetings,
Currently, we have a clientless SSL VPN portal deployed for our remote users running on an ASA5520 with version 8 IOS. Is it possible to perform application redirection for MS Outlook 2003 using a clientless SSL VPN connection? Or do we have to upload/configure the SVC plugin? If possible, we would like to keep the SSL VPN "clientless".
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

I'd think that it possible to perform application redirection for MS Outlook 2003 using a clientless SSL VPN connection.
As far as I know, RPC over HTTP is nothing more than HTTPS traffic from the client to the RPC proxy server (IIS component in MSFT architectures mostly a front-end Exchange). Once the traffic reaches the RPC proxy , the HTTP header is striped and the RPC proxy forwards the Exchange RPC traffic to the Exchange back-end.

Do you know if there is any documentation or configuration examples concerning application redirection for Outlook over a clientless SSL VPN?
