Computer Restarts after Cisco Anyconnect Session Done

I have a user connecting to their network via VPN (Cisco Anyconnect version 4.8.01090).

They are able to connect to the network and workstation with no issue.
Once they disconnect, the remote workstation restarts.

When the user returns to work the next day, her computer is in a state of Restarting, but will not complete the restarting process.

The user has to hit the power button to turn it off and then restart the computer.

Any ideas on how I can keep this machine from restarting, when user has disconnected the vpn session.

Hi,

Does this version of AnyConnect (4.8.01090) work for other workstations running the same os? If not, consider using a newer 4.8 version, maybe the latest.

You could also post the DART logs, to investigate possible other issues.

Regards,

Cristian Matei.

Yes, the version works for all other Windows 10 Workstations

Hi,

Try reinstalling AnyConnect and post the DART logs. Ensure the Windows 10 workstation is running the same patch level as the working ones, and there are no other VPN Clients installed on the system.
